So as of today I can move in, yay! I’ve got just about everything in there already, and I’d be done tonight if I didn’t have to work.
I’ve talked to Telus and I’ll have phone service by Saturday, DSL modem hopefully by Monday/Tuesday and internet service by Tuesday.
And now I go get ready for work. Woot.
So I’m finally moving out of my parents’ place. Yeah, yeah, about time, I know. The first months rent and damage deposit is all paid and I officially start living there November 1st, yay!
Not sure when I’ll actually have all my stuff moved in there what with the weather being so crappy and work being so omnipresent.
And I should really write some more, but I’m going to take a nap now before work.
I keep meaning to write these down somewhere because I have a horrible memory and constantly forget simple things like, for example, as the title says. I see a movie preview/trailer/commercial/wtfever and I go, “Wow, that doesn’t look bad, I think I might like to see that. I’ll have to keep my eye out for it.” Then I have to wait forever and a day because we don’t have much of a theater here, so I’m basically waiting for DVD release. By the time the damn thing comes out I’ve completely forgotten about it, or even if I’m reminded by commercials touting “New on DVD!” I’ll forget about THAT by the next day. So that’s it, I’m writing that shit down.
Movies I Want to See (in approximate order of desire to see):
I’m thinking I might make an actual page here on the blog with a to-do list of sorts. Easier to keep track of, and update, than an individual post which will get lost in the shuffle of time.
Edit: Well I did exactly as I said I was going to. There is now a To Do page.

This is an image that I’ve been working on for quite some time. I really liked the original photo that my dad took and always felt there was a good wallpaper in it somewhere, but nothing I tried came out looking good. So finally I just gave up and let the image sit for a while. Then the other day when I was at work I had some down time to just dick around and so I opened up the image, and started playing around. Next thing you know I have something I really like.
Following up all those words with an image. This is an older comic, but it made me chuckle.
